Program Snapshot
A turnkey solution to bring VR STEM to your school
✔️ What Is It? A Virtual Reality-powered after-school STEM program delivered directly to your school
🕒 When? Once per week, 45 minutes per session (30 weeks/academic year)
📍 Where? On-site at your school, in one of your classrooms
🧑🏫 Who Teaches? Top UCI STEM undergrads/grad students trained by UCI professor Laszlo Bardoczi
📦 What’s Included? VR headset for each student, pre-loaded curriculum, full support, no prep needed
Session Structure
Each session is 45 minutes long, divided into 3 equal segments that combine instruction, immersion, and inspiration.

Part 1. Reinforce Core Concepts in Traditional & Interactive Discussions (15 minutes)
We begin with a traditional academic approach — instructors lead students through challenging curriculum topics using whiteboard-based explanation and active discussion. This ensures a strong conceptual foundation rooted in familiar classroom methods.

Part 2. VR Curriculum Lab to Bridge Theory and Experience (15 minutes)
Next, students step into virtual reality to observe and interact with the very systems they just studied — walking through cells, tracing electric fields, or seeing forces at play. This direct connection between scientific description and visual experience builds intuition, which is key to turning participation into academic performance.

3. Enrichment Experience to Inspire STEM Pathways (15 minutes)
We close each session with a subject enrichment VR experience exposing students to real-world science and emerging technologies. From Mars habitats to quantum paradoxes, these moments help students envision themselves as future scientists, engineers, and changemakers.
The gap between available and needed STEM professionals in the U.S. is growing rapidly. As educators, we have a responsibility to help close this gap by cultivating local talent early. For students, this is an ideal time to pursue STEM. It’s in demand, full of purpose, and offers lasting career growth.

Subjects We Cover
🧲 Physics: Explore motion, gravity, circuits, electric fields, and dive into modern topics like Einstein’s relativity and quantum paradoxes. All in immersive 3D.
🧬 Biology: Walk through a cell, trace DNA replication, and explore human organs and body systems — helping students connect textbook biology to real, visual processes.
🧪 Chemistry: From atomic structure to molecule formation and chemical reactions, students visualize abstract concepts that are typically hard to grasp on paper.
