A two-week immersive Virtual Reality anatomy learning experience where students explore the human body in full 3D walking through a beating heart, assembling organ systems, and learning through guided instruction. With structured lessons, hands-on VR interaction, and measurable pre- and post-assessments, students build deep understanding, confidence in science, and excitement for future pathways in medicine and STEM. Comes with certificate of completion. Endorsed by the UCI Science Project.
Program Description
This summer program immerses children in science in a way that aligns with how the brain learns best. In our Virtual Reality labs, students explore the human body in true 3D—walking through a beating heart, solving problems with immediate spatial feedback, assembling systems piece by piece, and receiving guided explanations as they interact. By engaging sight, sound, movement, and spatial reasoning simultaneously, students activate multiple memory pathways, strengthening understanding and long-term recall. The result is intuitive comprehension, growing confidence, and meaningful excitement about science, while helping students envision future paths in medicine, health sciences, and STEM.
The two-week program runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–12:00 PM. Each day begins with instructors leading a brief pre-assessment and focused discussion of core biological concepts before students enter the VR lab. During the immersive phase, students explore, assemble, and interact with anatomical systems through structured activities that reinforce structure and function in line with the Next Generation Science Standards. Afterward, they complete a post-assessment and participate in a guided debrief and Q&A, allowing both students and parents to see measurable learning growth.
Over two weeks, students study topics aligned with widely used textbooks such as *Human Biology and Health Science Explorer* (Prentice Hall) and *Biology* (Biozone), covering the skeletal, muscular, digestive, respiratory, cardiovascular, nervous and sensory systems. The combination of instructor guidance, immersive exploration, measurable assessment, and reflection creates a complete learning cycle, making scientific understanding visible, tangible, and deeply internalized.
No materials fee! Each student is provided a Meta Quest 3S VR headset preloaded with our proprietary anatomy software for use during classes of the entire program.
At the end of the program, students receive a certificate of completion that they can include on their resume when applying for the next stage of their academic career.
