Actual images from Einstein’s Horizon’s proprietary VR anatomy labs (not AI-generated, not concept art)
Topics are selected to align with the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS). Currently available labs and learning outcomes include:
-
Skeletal System: structure and function; support, protection, and movement; forces acting on joints
-
Muscular System: muscle structure and coordination; force generation; energy use in movement
-
Nervous System: information processing; sensory input; signal transmission; response coordination
-
Cardiovascular System: matter and energy transport; oxygen and nutrient delivery; system interactions
-
Digestive System: matter and energy flow; breakdown and absorption of nutrients
-
Respiratory System: gas exchange; oxygen–carbon dioxide cycling; support of cellular energy needs
-
Vision and Hearing: sensory systems; light and sound detection; signal processing in the brain
-
Anatomy Overview: a holistic view emphasizing interactions between body systems

Anatomy Models
Scientifically accurate,
photorealistic anatomy models
developed by medical professionals
-
Built from verified anatomical references
-
Designed and reviewed by medical experts
-
Photorealistic detail for true spatial understanding
-
Optimized for real-time performance in VR
Each lab supports multi-scale exploration by presenting anatomy at multiple biological scales:
-
Full body-scale systems(e.g., full skeletal system, full nervous system)
-
Detailed organs (e.g., heart with chambers and valves, brain with major regions, eyes with layered structure)
-
Cellular structures(e.g., neurons)
Several systems are scientifically animated, including: beating heart, pulsing neurons, breathing lungs.
All animations are based on accurate physiology, not visual gimmicks, not AI generated content.
Instructional Design
Sequenced & gamified challenges,
VR doctor audio instructions,
elementary, middle & high school levels
Students learn anatomy through visual exploration, physical interaction, spatial reasoning, and verbal instruction. This built-in multi-modal learning design support deeper understanding and longer retention than any textbook.

Platform Overview & Access
-
Anatomy Learning Labs is a standalone virtual reality anatomy application developed by Einstein’s Horizon for Meta Quest 3 and Meta Quest 3S headsets. No PC, external computer, or tethered hardware is required.
-
The application is built using the Unity game engine for cross-platform, high-performance virtual reality experiences.
-
The application is proprietary intellectual property of Einstein’s Horizon.
-
The application is available for both institutional and individual use through the Meta Horizon Store.
