Future Physicians Academy:
A Foundation in Human Anatomy
A 10-day immersive exploration of biological systems for 7th–10th graders
Using medical-grade VR simulations, students move beyond the textbook to explore the core systems of human anatomy in 3D.
Who is This Program For?
We’ve designed this experience for students who are curious about how the human body works and want to experience the future of learning. It is an ideal fit for:
-
Students with a budding interest in biology or life sciences.
-
Visual learners who thrive with hands-on, 3D exploration.
-
Tech-curious students interested in the practical applications of VR in science.

Why Einstein’s Horizon?
The Future Physicians Academy is built on the belief that complex biology is best understood when it can be seen and interacted with.
-
Developed by Professor Laszlo Bardoczi of UCI, our 8 core Anatomy Labs provide a rigorous academic head start:
-
Skeletal, Muscular, Nervous, Cardiovascular, Digestive, Respiratory, Vision & Hearing, and General Anatomy.
-
-
Near-Peer STEM Mentorship: Students are guided by a team of high-achieving UCI undergraduates who provide a relatable bridge between high school science and university-level research.
-
Small-Group Instruction: With 2–3 instructors per 25-student session, we ensure that every student receives the guidance they need to navigate both the technology and the curriculum.
The 3-Phase Daily Learning Cycle
To ensure academic retention and digital wellness, each 3-hour session follows a structured, balanced rhythm:
-
Phase 1: The Concept Primer (45m) – An instructor-led overview of the day’s specific anatomical system (e.g., The Cardiovascular System) to prepare for the lab.
-
Phase 2: The VR Anatomy Lab (45m) – Students enter the 3D environment to visually identify and interact with the structures discussed in the primer. Multiple instructors circulate to provide immediate academic support and technical troubleshooting.
-
Phase 3: Synthesis & Review (45m) – A collaborative debrief and daily quiz to solidify understanding and answer lingering questions.

Measurable Progress: The Student Performance Profile
We believe in academic accountability. Parents receive two digital profiles (week 1 and week 2) summarizing:
-
Core Competencies: Results from the daily anatomy quizzes.
-
Instructional Feedback: Personalized notes from our UCI staff on the student’s engagement, questions, and scientific inquiry.
-
Technical Milestones: Proficiency levels reached within the VR Lab modules.
Summer 2026 Enrollment
To maintain our commitment to small-group instruction and a 25-student cap, we are limiting our summer cohort to 50 total participants. We encourage parents and students to review the program details and pricing to determine if this foundational anatomy experience is the right fit for their summer goals.
